Supervisor’s research interests
The area of my scientific interests is queuing theory and its applications. My efforts are focused on solving problems of constructing mathematical models of communication systems and networks and developing methods for their analysis. I developed original methods for studying non-Markov queuing systems with an unlimited number of servers and non-Poisson arrivals: the method of screened process, the method of limit decomposition, and the asymptotic analysis method.
Research highlights
The program includes comprehensive training of qualified specialists in the field of the Internet of Things and telecommunications systems, with a special emphasis on mathematical modeling of data transmission, processing and storage processes, capable of conducting research and development at the world level, as well as with knowledge and skills in the field of wireless communication networks , processing and analysis of big data.
Research and dissertation projects are closely related to the scientific activities of a recognized school in applied queuing theory in Russia and abroad, with the support of leading companies that are actively introducing telecommunication technologies into their production and corporate processes, which will allow graduate students to obtain and master advanced theoretical knowledge in the field of telecommunications and the Internet of Things directly and master the skills of solving real practical problems.
